30th Anniversary FAQs

1. What is the cost of attending the alumni reception or family picnic?

There is no cost to attend either of these events. We ask that you please register to help us anticipate attendance for our planning efforts.

2. What is an UnGala?

The UnGala is a celebration of 30 years of excellence at Bosque School. Proceeds from the UnGala will support need-based financial aid for Bosque School students. This FUNraiser is an adults-only event and will feature live music, dancing, a wine pull, an auction, and more! While an UnGala may be hard to describe, we can easily tell you what it is NOT: rubber chicken, assigned seating, strict dress code, exclusive pricing, and long-winded programming.

3. What are the sliding scale tickets for the UnGala?

Bosque School was grown, built, and sustained by innumerable contributions from thousands of community members—it is important to celebrate with all of you! We have several options available: a “Cover My Cost” ticket covers the full cost ($100) for one person. If you would like to purchase a sliding scale ticket, the recommended ticket price is $50, but please pay an amount that makes your attendance possible-the important thing is that you are there!

4. Are UnGala tickets tax-deductible?

The actual event cost per person is $100. Any amount over the cost of your tickets is tax deductible. All underwritten tickets for staffulty or other donations will be 100% tax-deductible.

5. Can I purchase an UnGala ticket for a specific staffulty member, department, or division?

Sorry! We cannot assign specific individuals or departments to your donation. However, the tickets you purchase will offset the school’s cost to pay for staffulty tickets, and all staffulty are invited to attend at no cost.

6. When and where?

Alumni Reception: Thursday, May 15, 6-8 pm at Rio Bravo Brewing Company, 1912 2nd St NW, Albuquerque, NM 87102

Family Picnic: Friday, May 16, 3-5 pm on Wood Field

UnGala: Saturday, May 17, 7-10 pm on the Bosque School Quad

7. What is the dress code for the UnGala?

The dress code is flexible party attire. We want all of our guests to feel their best, and you may wear whatever you like! This is an opportunity to break out your snazzy sparkles, don your cherished bolo tie, or sport your prized kicks: we want to see your Bosque best!
